Candi McCutcheon's Obituary
Candi M. McCutcheon, 52, of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at her home.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the St. Irenaeus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am to the service time Friday at the funeral home.
Candi Maria Kemp was born on October 18, 1966 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Gary and Constance (Hugunin) Kemp. She was a 1985 graduate of Clinton High School and also a graduate of Clinton Community College. She married John McCutcheon on January 29, 1993 in Clinton.
Candi was employed with the Clinton Housing Authority. She was previously employed at Mercy Hospital.
Candi enjoyed reading, spending time with family, and loved camping.
Candi is survived by her husband: John of Clinton; her son: Erik (Britta) McCutcheon of Clinton; her daughter: Katelyn McCutcheon of Clinton; her granddaughter: Brinley Vosatka; her sister: Rose Taylor of Clinton; her two brothers: Gary Kemp, Jr. of Clinton, and Gene (Tammy) Kemp, Sr., of Clinton, mother-in-law: Lynn McGraw of Clinton, and step-mother-in-law: Teresa “TK” McCutcheon of Clinton, and her step-mother: Julie Smith of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father: Wayne Bromley; father-in-law: John McCutcheon, step-father-in-law: Jim McGraw, brother-in-law: Paul McCutcheon, and nephew: Gene Kemp.
Memorials can be made to the Hope Lodge in Iowa City.
