Camilla Jean Rouse's Obituary
Camilla “Jean” Rouse, 87, of Camanche passed away, Monday, May 2, 2022 at her home in Camanche surrounded by her loving family.
Private Services will be held, Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
Camilla Jean Hendricks was born on December 18, 1934 in Clinton, the daughter of Jack and Marian (Davy) Hendricks. She was a 1953 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Virgil Eickert in May of 1954. She later married Grady Rouse on August 26, 1972 in Camanche; he died March 7, 2007.
Jean was employed with National By-Products and Lewis Lawson Harbor Service. She was a women of deep faith in God. She was kind, generous and lived her mortal life with a heart filled with love for everyone, especially her family and friends. She loved making and sharing cinnamon rolls, and her late husband Buck always said she was most happy when she was in a cloud of flour!
Jean is survived by her children: Diane (Ron) Holmes of Clinton; Steve Eickert of Camanche; a step son: Jackie Lee (Stephanie) Rouse of Yukon, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Peter Holmes, Rebecca Holmes, Dustin Rouse, and Chelsea Rouse; great-granddaughters: Olivia and Natalia Holmes, and her brother: Richard (Deb) Moravec of Suffix, Virginia.
She will be missed deeply by her family and friends….Until We Meet Again.
