I'm so sorry for your loss. Cal was a great man and will be sorely missed.
I sat next to Cal playing saxaphone for several years in the Don Karrol Orchestra. I learned so much, not just about music, but a lot of life lessons. He brought not only great music, but a terrific sense of humor and made playing a lot of fun.
I also enjoyed seeing Cal at Zion Lutheran for many years.

So sorry to hear of Cal's passing at the Catfish Jazz Jam yesterday. Loved listening to him playing his clarinet and singing. My sincere sympathy.....
Cal was a great teacher. When he did an audit and found a mistake it was a teaching session not a blaming session. He was admired and respected by all. He will be missed.
Dear Aunt Tudy, Chris, Barb, Bill, Andy and Laura,
I have been holding Uncle Mick and all of you in my thoughts and prayers ever since he went to the hospital for his surgery. I am so very sorry for your loss. I look at his picture and struggle to comprehend that he is no longer with us.
Uncle Mick was a wonderful, funny, good man, and I am going to miss him. Our Rohwer family gatherings won't be the same without him.
I take some comfort in thinking that he and Daddy are catching up on some good visits - and maybe even doing a little fishing at our Minnesota lake.
