Dear family, dear friends of Byrne,
With greatest sorrow I heard about the painful loss. Therefore I just would like you to know that Byrne is a colleague which it was a pleasure and real fun sometimes to work with. When he was in Hamburg once with Kim Beals something really funny happened to him and this is what always pops up first in my mind once I hear his name.
All the best for the future.
My depest regrets to the family and friends of Byrne.
I spent a couple of weeks with him here in Europe and we had quite some fun together. He had German roots, so we always found things which he already knew about, especially on the food side.
I will miss him and his "Joy on Live" a lot. A great Guy passed away, much to early.
Best Regards
Jens Kock
With unbelieve and sadness I read the news about Byrne. I wish his family and friends much strength to deal with this great loss of a very good man who stood for everything he did.
I will miss his hunting pictures showing his Dutch hunting hat.

Byrne was one of the most genuine people I know. He has a great love for his family and shared this with all of us. He was dedicated to his job and always wanted to make sure the customer was happy. He was always able to make us laugh. Byrne was one of the smartest men I know and also one of the best. I will miss him greatly and I have been receiving emails from around the world. All of his friends in Europe and South America are saddened for this great loss. There will never be another one like him. My sincere sympathy to all.
I knew and worked with Byrne for 10+ years at ADM. He was a great guy! He was very intelligent and knew his stuff when it came to computer systems. He will be deeply missed.
My condolences and prayers are with the family.
