Brittney Everhart's Obituary
Brittney Jo Everhart, 17, of Camanche, died Friday, February 24, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Camanche. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Bark, Shane Bark, Kyle Low, Blake Bark, Phillip Shehan, and T.J. Runge. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon and Joe Webb. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00-8:00pm at the church. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Brittney Jo Everhart was born on October 9, 1994 in Fargo, North Dakota the daughter of Jeff and Kelly (Bark) Everhart.
Brittney was currently a junior at Camanche High School. She was active with volleyball, chorus, and drama at school. She also played high school soccer for Clinton High School. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was active with the Pathfinders Youth Group.
Brittney is survived and lovingly remembered by her parents: Jeff and Kelly Everhart of Camanche, her sister: Alexandria Everhart of Camanche, her brother: Jesse Everhart of Camanche, her maternal grandmother: Geraldine "Gerri" Bark of Camanche, her paternal grandparents: Jesse and Elaine Everhart of Camanche; her niece: Lilly Jo Everhart-Rodgers, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Jim Bark.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to a fund to be established in Brittney's name.
