Brian P. Callahan's Obituary
Brian P. Callahan, 63, of Clinton, unexpectedly passed away, Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Methodist Metropolitan Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Larkin, Brian Schmidt, Matt Bremer, Micky Julio, Nick Teachout, Ryan Larkin, Michael Matje, and Scott Kenworthy. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm at the funeral home.
Brian Peter Callahan was born on February 21, 1952 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Rosella (Lutz) Callahan. He was a 1970 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Judi Larkin on September 25, 1971 in Clinton.
Brian was employed with ADM for over 45 years, currently as a supervisor in the enzyme department.
Brian enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, working around his house, and traveling.
Brian is survived by his wife: Judi of Clinton; his son: Cory (Cindi) Callahan of Raleigh, North Carolina, his daughter: Courtney (Brian) Schmidt of Oswego, Illinois; six grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Timothy (Martha) Callahan of Katy, Texas, and Thomas (Paula) Callahan of Kerrville, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials can be made to the family.
