Bonnie L. Stuhlman's Obituary
Bonnie L. Stuhlman, 78, of Camanche passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House - Bettendorf, Iowa.
Bonnie Lea Tompkins was born September 8, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Leona (Tholen) Tompkins. She was a 1960 graduate of Clinton High School. She worked at Farm & Fleet as a bookkeeper for 13 years; retiring in 1997. She married Charlie Stuhlman on May 4, 1996 in Camanche, Iowa.
She was a member and baptized in the Methodist Church and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies group both in Camanche and in Foley, Alabama where she and her husband lived for many years. She was fun loving and easy going, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and pulling the occasional joke on Charlie.
Bonnie will be dearly missed by her husband Charlie Stuhlman of Camanche; three daughters: Rhonda Cook of Camanche, Laurie Fisher of Schertz, Texas and Kristi (Ryan) Tumey of LeClaire, Iowa; grandchildren: Nicole (Jason) Dohse, Lisa (Carl) Saxon, Chelsea Fisher, Alex Ahlgren, Tyler Ahlgren and Laken Tumey; great grandchildren: Alice Dohse and Bentley Ahlgren; step-children: Mark (Ellyn) Stuhlman of Camanche and Linda Stuhlman of Camanche; and three sisters: Judy Edelman, Karla Hansen and Cheryl Tompkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the families request memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
