Bobby E. Bell, Sr, 74, of Dubuque, IA passed away, Friday, January 6, 2017, at Finley Hospital- Dubuque, IA.
Memorial services will be on Monday January 9th, 2017 at 11:00 am. at God's Family Baptist Church 301 East St. Grand Mound, IA. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory- Clinton, IA is assisting the family.
Bobby Eugene Bell, Sr, was born on February 13, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Howard and Gladys (Tate) Bell.
Bobby was employed at International Paper in Clinton, IA as a feeder operator for 27 years. He was a member of God's Family Baptist Church of Grand Mound, IA.
Bobby enjoyed fishing, working on small engines, and meeting with his friends and his family. He also enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren.
Bobby enjoyed spending his final year with his fiance Mary Wharton, they enjoyed many happy moments together.
Bobby is survived by his children: Bobbie Jean Bell (Jon Wilson) of Vinton, IA, Bobby (Deb) Bell, Jr. of Clinton, IA, Sherri (Bill) Batts of Dubuque IA, his 4 grand children: Cody Bell of Clinton, Anthony Musch of Clinton, Abby Bell of Clinton, Sarah Bell of Vinton, Sisters: Ruth (Greg) Dolter of Dubuque, IA, Frances Curtis of Maquoketa, and Tammy (Ray) Friis of Clinton.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Kevin and Keith Bell, Wives; Shirley and Beverly as well as his brother Walter Bell, Sr. and Faye Kinder.
Memorials can be made to the family in lieu of flowers.
