Bob Jewell Robert "Bob" Charles Jewell, 57, of Camanche, IA, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center - North Campus in Clinton, IA. Services will be held at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 7:00PM. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Bob was born on September 13, 1950, in Clinton, IA, the son of Robert Vernon and Beverly Jean (Walker) Jewell. He married Terri Miller on May 3, 1980 in Follets, Iowa. Bob was a member of the Moose Lodge #363 and the Sons of AMVETS. He was employed as an over the road truck driver his entire life, until retiring in 1996. Survivors include his sons, Jon (Brianna Spry) Jewell of Des Moines, IA; and Jared Jewell of Des Moines, IA; his daughter, Taylor Rippon of Clinton, IA; sisters, Karm Payson of Calamus, IA; and Sonya (Stephen) Schroeder of Calamus, IA; brothers, Darryl (Deliah) Blinkinsop of Clinton, IA; and Leonard (Kathy) Porter of Camanche, IA; and his father, Robert Vernon Jewell of Donahue, IA. His mother preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to the family.
