Betty J. Samuelson's Obituary
Betty J. Samuelson 89, died peacefully December 10, 2020, at Good Samaritan Home in Davenport.
Services and visitation will be held at a later date. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
Betty Jane Kelly was born January 2, 1931 the daughter of Harold and Winifred (Humphry) Kelly in Clinton Iowa. She married Leonard Samuelson on June 21, 1952 in Clinton, he passed away April 17, 1995. She was a 1950 graduate of St. Mary’s High School.
She retired from the Clinton School District working as a cook at Whittier Elementary School. She was a member of Prince of Peace Church in Clinton.
She is survived by one son, David (Debbie) Samuelson of Long Beach, California; four sisters: Jeanette Klare of Clinton, Rosemary Britt of Tucson Arizona, Kathy Kelly of East Moline, Illinois, and Barbara Woodard of Cleveland, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son Mark.
