Betty Marie Mills, 97, of Albany, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at her home in Albany. There will be no services, she will be buried next to her husband at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com. Betty was born November 10, 1927 in Carroll County, Illinois, the daughter of Ed L. and Jessie (Law) Dauphin. She married Jack Mills January 2, 1949 in Savanna, Illinois; Jack died September 21, 2010.
Betty worked most of her life in retail.
She is survived by her daughters: Jacqueline (Kevin) Hersey of St. Charles, IL and Dale Ernst of Port Byron, IL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; children: Jeffrey Mills and Deborah Hersey and a sister.
