Betty Jane Luckritz's Obituary
Betty Jane Luckritz, 92, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Alverno. Services will be held 10:30AM, Monday, October 8, 2018 at Chancy Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 3:00PM to 5:00PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Betty Jane was born January 24, 1926 in Clinton, the daughter of Edward and Goldie (Rebelsky) Junge. She was a 1944 Clinton High School graduate. Betty married William P. Luckritz in Clinton on August 12, 1945; William died July 7, 2002.
Betty was employed at the Clinton County Treasurer’s Office as a deputy treasurer for more than 20 years. Betty was a charter member of Chancy Lutheran Church and a member of the Izaak Walton League.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (William) Mauck of Rockbridge, OH; son, David (Jennifer) Luckritz of Reedville, VA; grandson, Timothy (Denise) Mauck, granddaughters Marcy (Luckritz) Pennella, Debbie (Mauck) Hill, Katie (Matt) Luckritz Carney; and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ed Junge and Ralph Junge.
Memorials may be made to Chancy Lutheran Church.
