Katie and family, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My sister in law lives in Clinton and let me know of her passing. I have very fond and wonderful memories of your Mom and spending time at your house during our high school days. Seems like forever ago in some ways and then not so long ago in others. Bette and I went to Clinton High, graduated together. Her grandfather, Sam Machael and my grandfather, Jens Petersen, went to Odd Fellows Lodge together. I remember her as very bright, helpful, and her obit shows the many contributions she has made during her lifetime. My son, too, lives in St. Charles, IL. My sympathy to the family and friends. She will be missed.
