Bertha “Lucille” Weinbeck, 100, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center – North Campus, Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday April 1, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Bertha Lucille Raede was born on November 5, 1913 in Shawneetown, Illinois the daughter of William and Laura (Potts) Raede. She married Ralph J. Weinbeck on December 3, 1931 in East St. Louis, Illinois; he died March 31, 1968.
Lucille was employed with the SS Kresge Company / Kmart for many years.
Lucille enjoyed and was a member of the Clinton Moose Lodge and enjoyed volunteering with RSVP.
Lucille is survived by two daughters: Betty (Wayne) Barnes of Chino Valley, Arizona, and Carole Kramer of Clermont, Florida; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Marlene, a brother William, and two grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
