Berneice "Bee" Mary Burden's Obituary
Berneice “Bee” Mary Burden, 90, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Addington Place of Clinton, Iowa. Services will be held at 11:00AM Friday at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the service hour Friday at the funeral home. Bee was born October 9, 1932 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Camille and Josephine Haddad. She was a 1950 graduate of Clinton High School.
Berneice was employed in accounting with Montgomery Ward for more than 17 years, Clinton Corn Processing for 13 years and her brother’s business, New Frontiers in Chicago, Illinois for 16 years.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and was a volunteer with RSVP and Mercy Auxiliary.
Survivors include her sister, Elaine Haddad of Melrose Park, Illinois; nieces and nephews: Morgan, Chris, Nick, Tiffany, Adrienne, Chris Rich and Roberta Abbott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Larry and Kenneth Haddad and her special sweetheart, Henry Knudsen.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s or Camp Courageous.
