Benjamin Andrew Martin, 50, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.
Per his wishes he deeded his body to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A Celebration of his life will be held at 12:30PM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton with a luncheon following the services. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzornig.com.
Benjamin was born May 3, 1974 in Clinton, Iowa the son of John and Barbara Lee (Stahl) Martin. He was employed as a machinist at Schultz and Ryerson. The past few years he worked as a day-trader.
Survivors include his daughter, Jordan (Mitchell) Hood and son, Julian (Kaitlyn) Martin both of Clarksville, TN; granddaughter, Rowan Grace Hood; father, John Martin of Clinton, IA and brothers, Jon (Dana) Martin of Tucson, AZ and Michael (Jennifer) Martin of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother.
