Barry L. Rickertsen's Obituary
Barry L. Rickertsen, 77, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at his home.
Per his wishes there will be no services or visitation. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family.
Barry Lee Rickertsen was born on January 22, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Johannes “John” and Betty (Lampe) Rickertsen. He served in the United States Army from 1964-1967. He married Lory Broadrick on February 5, 2003.
Barry was a Union Laborer Local #43 for many years retiring in 2007. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, boating, motorcycling, cooking and custom cars.
Barry is survived by his wife: Lory of Congress, Arizona; his children: Robin Buntjer, Jodi (Dennis) Milder, Bari Holden, and Cody (Kim) Hammer all of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Betty (Dart) Williams of Lutz, Florida, and Billie (Johnnie) Ricks of Spring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: James “Sam” Rickertsen and Rodney Rickertsen, and three sisters: Ruth Barten, Marlene Lampe, and Barb Chase.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
