This day, August 7, 2017, Barbara E. Wellman, 81, has gone home to her Lord and family. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory assisted the family with the cremation.
Barabara Ellen Wellman was born on March 1, 1936 in Michigan, the daughter of Jesse and Louise (LaVoie) Wellman. She enjoyed shopping and going to church and worshiping.
She is survived by her children: Mesha (Michael) Brightwood of Jacksonville, Florida, Sally Flynn-Maier of Arnold, Missouri, Ruth King of Clinton, Cynthia (John) Roth of Clinton, Mike (Clara) Goble of Omaha, Nebraska, and Michael (Lorena) Cherry of Popular Grove, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three brothers: Delor Wellman, Harold (Jim) Wellman, and Dennis Wellman of Ford River, Michigan; and her life partner Raymond Collins of Lemont, Illinois, numerous nieces, nephews, and followers of Christ including her lifelong brother in Christ Melvin May of Camanche.
