Barbara C. Rodriguez, 82, of Clinton passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Marion, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be 2:00 – 4:00 pm, Sunday April 24, 2022 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be held privately at the Calamus Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Barbara Carol Chase was born November 18, 1939 in Maquoketa, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Nellie (Moore) Chase. She married Gerald Haley in 1961, they later divorced and he passed away in 2018. She married Ralph Rodriguez on July 1, 1994 in San Diego; he passed away on July 4, 2001. She was a woman of many trades that could do just about anything; she also cared for her home and her children.
She is survived by her children: Raymond (Chris Santeramo) Chase of Maquoketa, Iowa, Tommie (Bettie) Haley of Marion, Rick Haley of Maquoketa, Tammie (Don) Besse of Maquoketa, Sheila Bustamante of Maquoketa and Shelly Haley of Maquoketa; 18 grandchildren: Paul, Amy, Stormy, Sky, Khloe, Gabe, Starlite, Samantha, Jocelynn, Dayleen, Donna, Ray, Shelly, Shiann, Jerrod, Jolene, Natalie and Melissa; twenty-three great grandchildren; and siblings: Veronica Kohl of Kankakee, Illinois, Mickey (Glenn) Clark of Zoni, Missouri and Penelope (Dave) Kenney-Chase of Orion, Illinois.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-daughter Jill, great granddaughter Charlie, one brother and one sister.
