Dear Phyllis, Cherryl, Rollin and family, Arica and family, and Gordy:

Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry to learn of the passing of your husband, father and grandpa. Cherryl and Rollin, Hallie, Willie and Sekura, thank you so much for coming out east to Annie's wedding. We felt so bad when we heard that your father and grandpa had passed away. He was a kind gentle man with a dry sense of humor. We enjoyed talking with Banks and Phyllis at Hallies wedding. I'm sure you have lots of fond memories. I would like to express my condolence to Banks' family and especially to Phyllis. I am a cousin of Banks in North Carolina who grew up with him and Wes. I was always close to all of his family in N.C. and wish I could come to his memorial service, but will not be able to. My brother Jess passed away in May and he was also close to all of the family here in N.C. May God give you the comfort to know that Banks cared for you all and loved all of your every much and was a true Christian. Anne Moore Talley.

I remember Banks quite fondly when my family lived in Jackson County. As 4-H Leaders, my late husband and grew to know Banks quite well. Our two daughters were 4-H'ers who knew Banks as well. Much later, we also lived in Ankeny where Phyllis and Banks lived and would occasionally run into them. My deepest sympathies to his family as they try to move on without him but hang on to the memories that will keep him alive in your hearts. Cheryl Pence, Lakeville MN
