Audrey E. Kimble's Obituary
Audrey E. Kimble, 85, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Mercy Living Center- South.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jared Nielsen, Shane Ketelsen, Christopher Nielsen, Eric Regenwether, Steven Nance, and Sheldon Kinrade. Audrey Elaine Baugh was born January 13, 1930 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Buchanan) Baugh. She was a 1947 graduate of Clinton High School and continued her education at Clinton Community College for 2 years.
Audrey worked as a bartender at Paul’s Tap for 18 years. She was a member of the Clinton Pockets Billiard Association and was in a bowling league for 25 years. She was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan, an avid reader, and enjoyed playing darts. She enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren. She loved baking and cooking for her children.
Audrey is survived by two sons: Kevin (Jody) Pannell of Marion, Iowa and Keith Kimble of Madison, Wisconsin; five daughters: Brenda (Linda Woodard) Pannell of Granite Falls, Washington, Karen Nielsen of Durant, Iowa, Rachel (Harvey) Manning of Zachary, Louisiana, Kathleen (Kenneth Ketelsen) Kimble of Camanche, Iowa, and Tanya (Wade Larky) Kimble of Fulton, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two brothers: Brenton Baugh of Clinton and Robert Baugh of Davenport, Iowa; one sister: Sharon Prescott of Bloomington, Illinois; a loyal longtime friend: Linda Redell; her beloved cat of 10 years, Levi; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and life long partner, Charles O. Henderson, her parents, one son: Terry Pannell, one granddaughter: Emily; one brother, and one sister.
