Arthur Charles Steinmann's Obituary
Arthur Charles Steinmann, 91, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Harbor Crest, Fulton, Illinois.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM (Noon) Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the service hour Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery, Clinton.

Art was born May 16, 1924 in Alton, IL, the son of Arthur L. and Lily Belle (Pannell) Steinmann. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He married Jeannette Redman on November 25, 1948 in Clinton, Iowa; she died February 14, 1999.
Art was a WWII United States Army Veteran.
He was employed Clinton Corn Processing for 25 years, Mater Dei School in the maintenance department for five years and was most recently employed at Farm and Fleet.
He had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and attended Lyons Methodist.
He is survived by his sons, Robert C. (Colleen) Steinmann of Dubuque, IA and David A. (Leah) Steinmann of Clinton, IA; grandchildren, Kerry (Rob) Steinmann Preece of Wisconsin Rapids, WI,; Ben (Kate) Steinmann of Breckenridge, CO; Courtney (Aundra) Steinmann Robinson of Douglasville, GA; Aaron (Cari Carlson) Steinman of Kalamazoo, MI; Jared Steinmann of Clinton, Iowa and Brenton Steinmann of White Bear Lake, MN; great-granddaughter, Talia Robinson; brothers, Harold of North Carolina; Elmer of Edwardsville, IL and Robert of Bozeman, MT; sisters, Shirley Strader of Edwardsville, IL and Nila Schwegel of Wilmington, NC.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
