Arnold Dann's Obituary
Arnold M. Dann, 74, of Camanche, died Monday, July 20, 2009 at Mercy Living Center South in Clinton. Arnold Dann was born on June 7, 1935 in Camanche, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Jeanette Dann. Arnold married Dolores Bailey in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin; they have been together for 49 years. Arnold was a laborer for Local Union #44 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa for several years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife: Dolores Dann of Camanche; four sisters: Virginia Derrickson of Mount Carroll, IL, Doris Thomsen of Camanche, Darline Berowski of Sugar Grove, IL, and Mrs. Richard (Ardiss) Spalding of Lilburn, GA; one brother: John (Charlie) Dann of Stockton, IA; two brother in laws: Robert Dash of Albany, IL and Allan Shepler of Clinton; one sister in law: Wila (Jack) Murphy of Camanche; several nieces and nephews, and one God daughter: Bobbie Hemesath of DeWitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
