Arnie Fenzel's Obituary
Arnold John "Arnie"Fenzel, 75, of Clinton, IA, died Saturday January 12, 2008 at his home in Clinton. Services will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig on Monday, January 14, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Clinton AMVETS. Pallbearers will be members of the Clinton AMVETS. He was born March 13, 1932 in Clinton the son of John and Bernice "Witt" Fenzel. He married Inez Jacobsen in 1954 in Clinton, IA. Arnie was a US Army Korean War veteran and was a member of the Clinton AMVETS Post #28. He retired from Hawkeye Chemical as a maintenance mechanic after 25 years employment. He had also been employed as an auto mechanic for many years and he owned and operated his own service station with his wife. Survivors include his wife, Inez of Clinton; daughter Cindy (Lee) Helm of Dallas, TX; sons, Arnie (Doreen) Fenzel; Brian (Cari) Fenzel; and Dale (Nicky) Fenzel all of Clinton, IA; 7 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Vera Noordt of Clinton; Shirley Leon of Cedar Rapids and Nancy Housenga of Indianapolis, IN and his brother, Donald Fenzel of Minnesota.
