Annabell (Ann) M. Shaw, 92, of Camanche, passed away, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at MercyOne – Clinton.
Graveside Services will be 11:00am, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren Matt Dahl, Matt Shaw, Carter Shaw, Andrew Keeling, Bryan Anson, and Dan Vogel. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cael and Cade Shaw. Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Annabell Marie Marr was born on February 7, 1929 in Clinton, the daughter of Isaac and Grace (Hendrick) Marr. She married Donald Harry Shaw, Sr., on February 7, 1945 in Clinton; he passed away on September 30, 2017 after 72 years of marriage. They had five children: Don, Jr., Dianna, Jacquelyn, Reva, and Philip.
Ann worked at the bowling alley, cleaned homes, and worked at Nielsen’s Clearing House. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Camanche, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ann is survived by her children and 10 grandchildren: Don Shaw, Jr. of Camanche and his children: Pam Jermeir, Scott Shaw, and Lisa Shaw; Dianna Shaw of Clinton and her children: Angela Black and Matthew Dahl; Jacquelyn (Bernie) Vogel of Camanche and their children: Dan Vogel and Melissa Atkinson; Reva Shaw (deceased) and her son: Andrew Keeling; Philip (Pam) Shaw of Clinton; and their children: Amanda Anson and Matthew Shaw; 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and daughter she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
