Ann Sullivan, 77, of Clinton, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Alverno Nursing Home, Clinton. A Funeral Mass will be 9:00 am, Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Catholic Church of the Visitation – Camanche. Burial will be in the St. Read Obituary
I know that she died 8 years ago but i thought i should add something. I never met her but her husband, Thomas J Sullivan, is the son of my Granduncle, John Frank 'Uncle Sully' Sullivan. That makes Thomas my 1st cousin once removed. I never met him either but i still wanted to write something
always enjoyed our once-a-year golf at the Lincoln Highway tournaments. After 25 years, we became friends better than the once-a-year thing. Ann was a classy lady whom I'm happy to have known. So sorry to hear of Ann's passing. I worked for Ann and Tom at the Country Club for several years, and always enjoyed our visits each time I was in town. I learned a lot from her and I know she will be missed by many. My heartfelt prayers go out to her family, and that Ann and Tom are now together again.
I was so sorry to read about the passing of Ann. She and Tom were very special to my husband Merle & I. Tom was Merle's first cousin and also was my son's confirmation sponsor. My sincere condolences to Ann's family. Her father-in-law John Sullivan was my grandmother Marie O'Rourke's younger brother. Uncle Sully & Aunt Venita were two of my favorite people in the whole wide world, and before they passed away we use to visit Tom & Ann in Clinton.
