Aniston Rae Thomas, 1, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away in the loving arms of her parents on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Herma Heart Institute-Children's Wisconsin. Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, July 29, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the service hour Friday at church. Aniston Rae was born July 7, 2021 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Mark and Alisse (Beckwith) Thomas. She quickly earned the nickname, tiger girl because of her strength and resilience. She loved listening to Adele, her brother reading to her, her sister playing barbies with her and always holding mom and dads hand.
Survivors include her loving parents, Mark and Alisse Thomas of Clinton; brother, Abel Thomas; sister, Frances Thomas; grandparents, Sean and Susie Bentley, Jeff and Vicki Beckwith and Mark and Patti Thomas all of Clinton; great-grandparents, Russ and Robbie Bentley of Clinton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Aniston was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Leigh and Vernetta Goff, Dwight and Shirley Beckwith, Nancy and Floyd Thomas, Alberta and Robert Raasch, James and Josephine Clark and Richard "Dick" Earl.
The family wants to extend their gratitude and appreciation to all the doctors and nurses that cared for Aniston during her time spent in the hospital and their commitment and dedication to giving her the best care possible.
