Angela H. McMahon's Obituary
Angela H. McMahon, age 92, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Alverno.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am, Friday, March 29, 2019 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes – Clinton is in charge of arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Angela Helen Cain was born in Preston, Iowa, the daughter of Matthew and Elizabeth (Dever) Cain. She graduated from Goose Lake High School. Angela married William McMahon on May 1, 1973 in California. William passed away on December 13, 2012.
Angela was a school teacher for many years. She was an avid bike rider and did many fundraisers for MS and Habitat for Humanity.
Angela is survived by two sisters: Kathryn Caron and Cecelia Sullivan both of Clinton and two brothers: Robert (Joan) Cain of Preston, Iowa, and Francis (Betty) Cain of Dixon, Illinois; one sister-in-law: Margaret Cain of DeWitt and one brother-in-law: Milton Oberman of Bellevue, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Raymond and Edward Cain, and four sisters: Mary McDermott, Maureen Witt, Eileen Bly, and Roberta Oberman.
Memorials can be made to Multiple Sclerosis or Habitat for Humanity.
