Amanda Nicole Talbot was born December 8, 1980 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Joyce. She attended Fulton Schools. She married Miguel Hernandez on September 3, 2005.
Mandy was a loving mother and a wonderful wife that took care of her home and family with all of her heart. If the weather was warm she would be outside enjoying the sunshine watching her children jump on the trampoline, playing with their toys, and planting flowers. She was a wonderful cook and with the help of her husband learned to cook Hispanic food that they both enjoyed. She also loved to cook out on the grill with her husband and enjoyed having big cookouts when family would come for birthday celebrations in the summer months. She loved taking her children and dogs to the dog park in Clinton where she met some new friends. She would even bake dog treats for the pups. Mandy knew the true meaning of friendship and it was seen in all of her relationships.
Mandy spent a few hours two or three days a week with her nephew Dru Redler, she would spend quality time with him taking him for haircuts, watching youtube videos, or caring for him and helping him with any needs he had. She was the center of her family, the person that everyone came to, whether it was a text message or a phone call she was there to listen or help in any way.
Mandy will be dearly missed by her husband Miguel Hernandez of Clinton; three children: Emiliano (Mano), Miguel (Tiny) and Alejandra (Sessa) Hernandez all at home; her mother: Joyce Runge of Clinton; father Lyle (Doreen) Talbot of Brighton, Colorado; siblings: Lisa (Barry) Skaaland of Fulton, Michele (Jeff) Moritz of Bettendorf, Iowa, Dena Tubbs of Clinton, Bryon Talbot of Cathlamet, Washington, Derrick (Melissa) Talbot of New Boston, Illinois and Dallas Koch of Clinton; paternal grandparents: Lyle and Inez Talbot, Sr. of Hampton, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents.
Memorials may be made to her family.
