Alvin J. Kohl's Obituary
Alvin J. Kohl, 71, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home in Clinton.
Services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the service hour Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve, Jeff, Tim, Scott, Tommy and Timothy Kohl, Jr.

Alvin was born December 1, 1943 in Clinton, the son of Alvin and Florence (Roggendorf) Kohl. He was educated in the Clinton Schools. Alvin married Ardith Kay Engelkens August 27, 1960 in Clinton; she preceded him in death December 27, 2004.
Alvin was self employed as a cement contractor his entire life.
Survivors include his fiancée, Betty Parker of Clinton; sons, Jeffrey (Andrea) Kohl of Clinton; Tim (Kellie) Kohl of Morrison, IL and Scott (Cherie) Kohl of Clinton; daughter-in-law, Ann Kohl of Clinton; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammie Shubert, son, Mark Kohl and his parents.
