Allan Lee Langrehr's Obituary
Allan Lee Langrehr, 76, of Clinton, Iowa passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at MercyOne, Clinton. A celebration of Allan’s life will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1:30-4:30 at the Clinton AMVETS. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snellzornig.com. Allan was born January 14, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of LeRoy O. and Dorothy Jane (May) Langrehr, Sr. Allan married Joan “Joanie” Runge July 1, 1972 in Clinton, Iowa. Allan was a United States Army 82nd Airborne Veteran serving two tours in Vietnam, he was awarded three purple hearts, the Bronze Star and three Air Medals.
Allan was employed at 3M as a chemical processor for more than 32 years. He was also a lifelong auto mechanic working at several local garages and always wrenching out in his own garage.
Survivors include his wife, Joanie; daughters, Angie (Ron Hicks) Schnitker of Clinton, IA; Lora (Corey) Council of Fulton, IL and Sara Langrehr of Follets, IA; grandchildren, Clayton, Jenna, Allison, Seann, Ethan, Ashley, Dylan and Clover; sister Donna Langrehr of Davenport, IA; brothers, David Langrehr of Clinton, IA and Roger (Linda) Langrehr of Clinton, Iowa and sister-in-law, Pat Langrehr of Follets, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Donald and LeRoy, Jr.
