Alice Mae Neubauer's Obituary
Alice Mae Neubauer, 91, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, August 17, 2015 at Mercy Living Center –South.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday evening at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory.
Alice Mae VanVuren was born April 2, 1924 in Fulton, Illinois, the daughter of Peter and Alice (Stuit) VanVuren. She was a 1942 graduate of Fulton High School. She married Clifford H. Neubauer on May 8, 1948 in Clinton, Iowa; he preceded her in death on September 12, 2001.
Mae was a homemaker. She was a very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton and was involved with Ladies Aide, where she served as a past president and secretary.
Mae is survived by her three sons: Richard (Dawn) Neubauer of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, Thomas Neubauer of Clinton, and Mark Neubauer of Davenport, Iowa; four grandchildren: Brandi Neubauer, Tiffany (Benjamin Tuominen, Ryan Neubauer, and Katie Neubauer; three great grandchildren; one sister in law: Thelma VanVuren of Fulton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Clifford, Mae was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
