Alice Rose Cooper's Obituary
Alice Rose Cooper, 88, of Albany, passed away, Friday, May 22, 2015 at the
Alverno - Clinton with family by her side. As per her wishes, she has donated her body to the
University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A memorial service will be held at
a later date.

Alice Rose Cooper was born on September 25, 1926 in Hanover, Illinois, the
daughter of Omar and Meta (White) Hatfield. She married Richard Cooper
D.D.S., he preceded her in death.
Alice attended the Clinton Academy of Beauty where she became a beautician
and taught at the school upon graduation. She had been a beautician for
many years. She had also worked at the Savanna Army Depot after
graduating from high school and also enjoyed singing in the Barb-A-Chords quartet.
Alice is survived by her children: Sonya (Arlo) Hendrickson of Tyler, Texas;
JoEllen (Steve) Hill of Albany, Illinois; John (Vickie) Killean of Cedar
Rapids, Iowa and Carol (Keith) Skiff of Clinton, IA; and grandchildren Dennis Henderson, Eric Henderson, Jason Jones, Kristin Pearcy, Bobbi Wolf, Nikki Byrns, John Killean IV, Kimberly Hill, Tanner Skiff, and Angie Skiff; eight great grandchild; sisters, Jean Stanton of Huntsville, TX, and Barbara Detlefson of Silverdale, WA and a brother, Herbert (Hazel) Hatfield of
Portland, OR.
In addition to her husband, Alice was preceded in death by her parents and
one brother, Albert Hatfield.
