Alice Bull's Obituary
Alice Mary Bull, 90, of Freeport, Illinois, formerly of Clinton, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Provena St. Joseph Center in Freeport, Illinois.
Services will be held at 11:30am Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:30am until the service time. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dave Mockridge, Troy McKinney, Chad McKinney, Seth Johnson, and Drew Harris.
Alice Mary Manning was born May 7, 1917 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of George and Colletta (Holdgrafer) Manning. She married Ray B. Bull on November 15, 1942 in Clinton, IA; he died May 1, 1989. Alice was a homemaker.
Alice was member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton, the Order of Eastern Star #65, and past matron of the Low Moor Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Sharon (Dave) Mockridge of Freeport, IL, and Marlene Johnson of Waterloo, IA; 4 grandchildren, Troy (Lenore) McKinney, Chad (Mary) McKinney, Seth (Kala) Johnson, and Sara Johnson; 11 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Collin and Delaney McKinney, Brooke, Nathan, Zack, and Isabella McKinney, Kelsi, Taylor, and Allyson Johnson, and GraciMae Miller; one sister, Dorothy Tholen of Camanche, IA; and 2 sister-in-laws, Geraldine Bull of Freeport, and Norma Manning of Dewitt, IA.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Linda, her parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Clinton.
