To My lovely Tio Alfonso....
I have wonderful memories from the year that I lived in Clinton with my tia, tio and primos (The Torres Family). Tio was an outstanding, brilliant and generous man...He enjoyed living to the fullest every single moment, always with a great smile. He was passionate about medicine devoted to his profession and family...He was a great inspiration on my life, someone that was driven to excel and accomplished the impossible...He loved taking long walks by the Mississipi river, Palisides or Eagle Point...He used to explain how colorful was autum in the Midwest and how much he enjoyed seeing all changes of tree leaves. He used to joke and tell me... so you see sobrina, you guys have only two seasons in Sonora, summer and summer not changes on cactus color, they are always dry ...(he was funny :))..Always amaze me how much he knew about world history in specific Mexico... He was proud of being Mexican and felt very honor to become an US Citizen... We will miss you so much, I feel extremely bless to have the opportunity to get to know better and shared incredible moments with you...

Dr. Torres was my pediatrician when I was a little girl. My parents trusted him whole-heartedly and would always breathe a sigh of relief when he walked in the room.I remember his stethoscope was always cold, but his care was always very warm and comforting. He will be missed by many. I’m so sorry for your loss.
