alan was a good friend. we were stationed together in germany. had many good times. always a smile and a laugh. also saw him back in the states after we got out of the army. i am a little late on condolences but am saddened to find out about his passing.Godspeed friend , gary t.
this is a little late but i hope its read. i served in the army with alan and he was one of my best friends in germany. he was a fun loving and true friend. after germany he came to texas (81) with his wife, mother in law and 3 kids (holly) was the girl, cant remember the other names. we went to houston and the beach. i know alan loved family, friends and good times, i am truly saddened to learn of his passing. i will pass the word to his army family. god bless alan, love you buddy! gary t [email protected]

My heart goes out to Al's family. I was shocked to hear this news. Al was a great man. He always had a smile and his laugh was contagious. I have many found memories of Al. Whether it was watching football games together, spending time on the river or just sitting together talking. He was a great man who would give you the shirt off his back if he knew it would help you. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and his many friends....Al toughed many lives...Namaste
