Adeliade Misiag's Obituary
Adelaide “Heidi” B. Misiag, 72, of Clinton, Iowa died Friday, March 27, 2009 at Mercy Living Center – South. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30am, Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Prince of Peace Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. at the Clinton Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Adelaide was born January 25, 1937 in Maiersgruen, Germany, now the Czech Republic, to Anna and John Jaeger. She married Marian J. Misiag in Clinton, Iowa at St. Boniface Catholic Church July 5, 1958. She worked two years as a lab technician at Clinton Corn Processing Company and 39 years at Mercy Medical Center as an X-Ray Technician and Nuclear Medicine Technician. She was a member of the National and State of Iowa Radiologists Associations. She was also a life member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Moose Club, German American Family Club, and American Red Cross. Survivors include her husband Marian J. Misiag of Clinton; a son Thomas (Beverly) Misiag of Iowa City, a daughter Christine (Ray) Misiag Tieso of Clinton, and a son Joseph (Kerry) Misiag of Clinton, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Erwin Jaeger of Waterloo and sister-in-law and nephew of California. Also two sisters-in-law Jozefa and Helena Misiag of Clinton. She was preceded by her parents Anna and John Jaeger and one brother Gonter. Memorials can be made to Prince of Peach Catholic Church.
