Adele I. Bartlett's Obituary
Adele I. Bartlett, 95, of Clinton reunited with her husband on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Addington Place in Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Mussmann, Steve Dierks, Max Bartels, Devon Bray, Abimael Perez and Isaac Larkin. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the service time at the funeral home. Adele Irene Kreisler was born January 30, 1930 in Guttenberg, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Merle (Kauffman) Kreisler. She married Kay Keith Bartlett on February 5, 1960 in Clinton, Iowa; he preceded her in death on March 7, 2016.
Adele worked as a dance instructor for Arthur Murray Studio for many years but mostly she was proud of being a homemaker and taking care of her husband and children. She loved being outside in her yard. She was still mowing the lawn at 92 years old. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, yardword and watching the birds and squirrels. She loved baking, crocheting and making porcelain dolls but mostly she loved time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a past member of Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton and was very active in many of the women's circles.
Adele was loved very much and will be missed dearly by her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her two daughters: Dawn (Richard Mussmann) Adamiec of Clinton and Cindy (Steven) Quigley-Dierks of Clinton; 7 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Dixie Dever and one brother Carl Kreisler and two nephews.
Memorials may be made in her honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
