There is no written language extensive enough to accurately communicate how much Adam meant to myself and to some of our friends. We lost a part of ourselves today. Adam was more than a good friend to me he was like a brother. We hit it off as amigos back in the first grade. He was one of the most hard working, loyal, dependable friends I've ever had in my life. We grew up together, we worked together (at the Frontier Best Western; some of you remember, some of you were there as well), we played together, we went through good times and bad time together. We always insisted on learning things the "hard way". We built forts, we went paintballing, we went camping, we went fishing, we got into trouble together. We loved spending time on the river with the rest of our tight crew. We liked to spend our free time at Eagle Point Park as well. Adam was always up for an adventure. We had many of those together. As we got older I left town for college and although we didn't spend much time together, we still kept in phone contact. He shared the news of the birth of his new baby girl with me over the phone about a year ago, and I was fortunate enough to spend some time with them both together last January. It was obvious how much he loved her (Adam was always fiercely protective of the people he cared about). Adam welcomed me into his home and gave me a place to stay for several days. We spent time just cruising around, seeing the old stomping grounds, and reminiscing about our earlier days. I got myself acquainted with his sweet baby girl Halle. We grilled steaks on my last day there. It had been several years since I had been back to Clinton, but in that moment it was as if no time had passed at all. I'd like to believe that's how it will be when we meet again. We will pick right back up where we left off; smiling, joking, and grilling. Until then, the rest of our years here will never be the same without you Polly. I hope you can feel the love
