Ada Wilson's Obituary
Ada Elizabeth Wilson, 82, of Clinton, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Alverno in Clinton. Graveside Services will be 11am Monday, January 10, 2011 at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Visitation will be 4 to 7 pm Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Pallbearers will be Dan Huggins, Jason Huggins, David Adair and Dean Metz. Ada E. Babler was born April 18, 1928 in Winona, MN, the daughter of John and Oline (Westgard) Babler. She was educated in the Pickwick, MN schools. Ada married Clarence Edward Wilson on June 8, 1946 in Dakota, MN; he died April 17, 2003. She was a homemaker. Ada is survived by her son, Gene Wilson of Clinton; daughters, Shirley (Paul) Troutman of Clinton; Barbara (Duane) Huggins of Eldridge, IA and Ruth Adair of Clinton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be made to the Alverno or Genesis Hospice.
