The cross was traded out for an older metal looking cross which was beautiful. I was a bit disappointed with the flowers chosen though. The only colors in the bouquet were purple and white. I chose this bouquet because I loved the color contrast. I totally understand flowers are seasonal and they have to use that's on hand, but I really wish they would have had that pop of red.

If I could make a suggestion, it would be helpful to send a photo of the delivered bouquet, especially when dealing with out-of-state customers. I recently learned of a dear friend's passing that happened in 2016. I moved 2000 miles across the country around the time my friend passed away and never knew of her death until now, Sept of '24.

I ordered a floral arrangement with a crystal cross that my best friend specifically wanted as a keepsake in remembrance of her mother. The total cost was $150 for a small arrangement and the cross. A nice chunk of change but it’s what my best friend wanted.
When I arrived at the funeral I noticed the arrangement was not what I ordered as there was no crystal cross on the arrangement.
I reached out to The sympathy store to give them an opportunity to make this right but they informed me that despite what I paid for, it’s up to the florists desecration and availability of the product to do what they want to do without informing me of the change. I also gave them an opportunity to exchange the item they actually put in the arrangement for what I paid for. They said this could not happen.
The only compensation was the service fee which came to $26.50. So basically I paid $125 for something I didn’t order. Customer service and satisfaction is not a big deal anymore.

I ordered the bouquet that I ordered the Crystal Cross Bouquet because the crystal cross was the main feature [in the middle with the flowers surrounding it on both sides], and the flowers and colors. Upon receiving a text of the passing and funeral services for a longtime friend, I put off visiting the obituary website until the morning of the scheduled visitation services. I was very disappointed at first (my fault). I did not read the email that they sent me about not having the crystal cross in stock. I called not knowing about the email and they made it right and contacted a florist in my area with the crystal cross. It was delivered to me the next day and I was able to give it to the family the same day. Thank you so much they loved it.

Sympathy Store, I must say that I was not satisfied at all on my purchase/presentation for the Crystal Bouquet... After paying $120.00 dollars for a PREMIUM Arrangement. The presentation of my purchase was lacking all of the red roses/and violet flowers, instead they sent a sad white/yellow flowers with just a few greenery... a very poor/not robust full/complete arrangement, as I had paid for. The one arrangement I saw was a very slinky, poor presentation... Not happy at all with the arrangement as it was false advertisement... My flower arrangement DID NOT look at all as the one I'd paid for. I would refrain myself from ordering flowers for any other occasion from your company, ever again. Very disappointed and embarrassed with my gift to the family.
I left only wandering, what would you had sent to my family, if I had purchased the cheaper version??? What a disappointment, as I believe I'd paid for a service, that I deserved to have!

Apparently the bouquet was exactly what we hoped for! Here is the comment we received from the family:
"The arrangement was perfectly adorned by a strikingly beautiful 10” tall crystal cross. I will place this piece on the fireplace mantle in my home so that every time I see it I will be reminded of both my Mom and the truly wonderful friends I have in the Academy."

Everything was perfect. Except the name of the individuals whom the arrangement was from, on the card was misspelled. If we submitted a typed copy, why the typographical error? That was disappointing. I hand-wrote the correct spelling on the card when it arrived at the church after the fact. The misspelled name on the card was "Jurez". The correct spelling should have been "Juarez".
