Sonja E. Davis, 101, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at the Alverno. A Private Memorial will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Sonja Evelyn Fredericksen was born on August 27, 1918 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Esther (Wallin) Fredericksen. She married George Wacker in February 1939 in Clinton; he died in 1975; she later married Francis Davis in June 1978; he died in 1990. Sonja was employed at VanAllens. She enjoyed gardening, baking, canning and rescuing all animals. Sonja is survived by her two children: David Wacker and Donna Kramer; numerous grandchildren and her sister: Eleanor Leonard.
