Patricia A. Reed, 85, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away, March 8, 2022 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House – Bettendorf, Iowa. Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Reed, Mike Reed, Rachel Lusson, Brent Carber, Greg Carber, Brian Carber, and Jason Putman. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time Saturday. Patricia Ann Carber was born on March 28, 1936 in Clinton, the daughter of George and Annetta (Jensen) Carber. She was a 1954 graduate of Lyons High School. She married Robert N. Reed on July 28, 1954 at Lyons Methodist Church. Prior to graduating from high school she worked at Rastrelli’s, Snack Harbor, and DuPont. Throughout her marriage she worked at Swift Processing and the Camanche School System as a teachers aid, and special projects coordinator. Pat volunteered for many civic organizations and as a Girl Scout leader and was a active lay leader for St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher, children’s choir director, and communion steward. She was also a worthy matron of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, crocheting, cooking, volunteering, traveling, and wintering in Texas. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family. Pat is survived by her husband of 68 years: Robert of Davenport; her children: Rick (Cindy) Reed of LeClaire, Michael (Bev) Reed of Bettendorf, and Vicki (Kevin) Putman of Newburgh, Indiana; two grandchildren: Rachel Lusson, and Jason Putnam; and her sister: Janet Spain of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Memorials can be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church Parish Nurse Fund or the Scott County Humane Society.
