Nicole B. Nielsen, 25, of Camanche passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at her home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, June 16, 2022 at River Church in Clinton. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Hardison, Dodson Melchiori, Zachary Edens, Quinten Schroeder, Jacob Sperry, Andrew Edens, Bryce Edens Quillen Schroeder and Jackson Edens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Nicole Beth Nielsen was born May 1, 1997 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Steven and Theresa (Edens) Nielsen. She was a 2015 graduate of Camanche High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Grand Canyon University in 2022. She worked at the Alverno Health Care Facility in the dietary department; she loved her job and all the people that she worked with. She enjoyed exercising and running but mostly she enjoyed time spent with her family and her children. Nicole is survived by her three children: Spencyr Nielsen and Frankie and Georgie Springer; her parents: Steven and Theresa Nielsen of Camanche; three sisters: Kayla (Brent) Carstensen of Camanche and their children, Stacea Nielsen of Camanche and her children and Alexandra Nielsen of Clinton; paternal grandmother: Judie (Steven) Petersen of Goose Lake, Iowa; maternal aunts and uncles: Tony Edens of Des Moines, Iowa, Frank Edens of Clinton, Gerry Hardison of Clinton, Sherry (Scott) Sperry of Camanche, Robert (Jennifer) Edens of Camanche, Leslie (Arlyn) Schroeder of Andover, Lenny (Larae) Edens of Tipton, Iowa, Beth (Marty) Lanhart of Camanche, Jenny Edens of Camanche, Susie (Aaron) Melchiori of Camanche, Boyer Edens of Camanche, Katie (Brittney) Edens of Louisiana, and Jordan (Jocelyn) Edens of New York; paternal aunt: Amy Ewing of Aledo, Texas; and many cousins. Nicole was preceded in death by her significant other Daniel Springer on Monday, June 6, 2022, her maternal grandparents Richard and Carol Edens and her paternal grandfather Terry Nielsen. Memorials may be made to the family in support of her children.
