Daniel J. Springer, 35, of Camanche passed away at home on Monday, June 6, 2022. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Springer, Colby Springer, Marcus Lemon, Kenny Casey, Carl Saxon and Mike McGarry. Honorary pallbearer will be Amber Springer. Daniel Joseph Springer was born January 20, 1987 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Perry and Lori Springer. He was a 2005 graduate of Camanche High School. He worked at Nestle Purina in Clinton for the past 3 years. He enjoyed dancing, singing, mushroom hunting and playing golf. He was an avid Chicago Bears, Bulls and Cubs fan and enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes. More than anything he loved time spent with his family especially, his children. He was a wonderful father and will be dearly missed by his family. Daniel was survived by his significant other Nicole Nielsen of Camanche. He is survived by his children: Chloe Ricord-Springer of Evergreen, Colorado, Spencyr Nielsen, Frankie Springer and Georgie Springer all at home; father: Perry (Terri) Springer of Monmouth, Illinois; mother: Lori Springer of Camanche; siblings: Ryan (Tonya) Springer of Camanche, Colby Springer of Monmouth, Illinois and Amber Springer of Camanche; paternal grandfather: Ken Springer of Fulton; paternal grandmother (Terri Springer’s mother): Gail Maher of Monmouth, Illinois; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Daniel was preceded in death by a baby sister Marie Springer; maternal grandparents Joseph and Royanne Stephens, paternal grandmother Nancy Springer, and paternal grandfather: Jim Maher. Memorials may be made to the family in support of his children.
